How to add Images & Videos to your Blog!

Here are the simple steps to add images & videos to your blog on blogger:

1: ADD AN IMAGE TO YOUR BLOG POST

STEP 1: USING YOUR GOOGLE CREDENTIALS, SIGN IN TO YOUR BLOGGER ACCOUNT AT BLOGGER.COM

STEP 2: Select the blog you would like to update in the top left corner.

STEP 3: Create a new post, or choose which previous post you would like to edit. Determine where the image will be placed, and click your cursor in that location.

STEP 4: In the top ribbon, click the "insert image" icon.  It will look like the highlighted icon below:

STEP 5:  Choose your image location:

STEP 6:  Choose the file(s) you want to upload, then highlight the image(s) desired followed by the select button at the bottom.

STEP 7:  Place and modify your image as necessary. To add alt tags, select the gear icon.

2: ADD A VIDEO TO YOUR BLOG POST

STEP 1: USING YOUR GOOGLE CREDENTIALS, SIGN IN TO YOUR BLOGGER ACCOUNT AT BLOGGER.COM

STEP 2: Select the blog you would like to update in the top left corner.

STEP 3: Create a new post, or choose which previous post you would like to edit. Determine where the video will be placed, and click your cursor in that location.

STEP 4: In the top ribbon, click the "insert video" icon.  It will look like the highlighted icon below:

STEP 5:  Choose your video location:

STEP 6:  Choose the file(s) you want to upload, then highlight the video(s) desired followed by the select button at the bottom.

 

If your video is from YouTube, the screen will appear like this. Either select from uploaded videos, or use the search option to find the specific YouTube video. Once found and highlighted, click the select button at the bottom.

STEP 7:  Place and modify your video as necessary. To add alt tags, select the gear icon.
